Defending a Claim

A discussion of how to create, write, and defend a claim or thesis in response to an AP Literature prompt. We go over reading and properly annotating a prompt and accompanying text, forming a claim or thesis, different types of evidence in different questions (poetry, prose, and theme analysis), and how to explain the evidence to support a claim.
