Economics & Society (1450-1789)

In this stream, we'll discuss the crossroads between economics and European society between 1450 and 1789. During this period, European life changed drastically as industrialization eliminated jobs and industries as wholes to make way for the new way of production and commerce. Likewise, the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment radically questioned the common thought and teachings of the Church. Additionally, we'll cover the edicts and compare them to accepted religious doctrines of the time.
